Question 1

What do water/flood 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY with water/flood damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,400 to $9,000. That is 9% above the $5,575 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,800 a good price for this 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

529 comparable 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY listings sold at auction for a median of $5,575, spanning $3,400 to $9,900. At $5,800 this one went 4% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY's pre-damage retail value at $14,652. It sold for $5,800 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this LAND ROVER DISCOVERY?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This LAND ROVER DISCOVERY has water/flood and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
