Question 1

What do rear end 2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 28 recorded sales of the 2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER with rear end damage, the median was $31,500, from $22,300 to $48,000. That is level with the $31,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this LAND ROVER DEFENDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - OPA LOCKA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 30,548 miles high for a 2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER listings at auction averaged 33,132 miles across 300 sales, so at 30,548 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Accepted Answer
