Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $31,750, from $19,800 to $35,000. That is 17% above the $27,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $34,500 a good price for this 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER?

Accepted Answer

179 comparable 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER listings sold at auction for a median of $27,250, spanning $15,100 to $35,000. At $34,500 this one went 27% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this LAND ROVER DEFENDER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER's pre-damage retail value at $44,250. It sold for $34,500 — 22% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this LAND ROVER DEFENDER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AR - CONWAY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 440 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 104,952 miles high for a 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 LAND ROVER DEFENDER listings at auction averaged 66,978 miles across 179 sales, so at 104,952 miles this one sits 57% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
