Question 1

What do water/flood 2024 KIA TELLURIDE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2024 KIA TELLURIDE with water/flood damage, the median was $14,650, from $8,000 to $18,100. That is 9% above the $13,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,000 a good price for this 2024 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

1654 comparable 2024 KIA TELLURIDE listings sold at auction for a median of $13,400, spanning $6,900 to $19,300. At $9,000 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA TELLURIDE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2024 KIA TELLURIDE's pre-damage retail value at $33,960. It sold for $9,000 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this KIA TELLURIDE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IL - CHICAGO HEIGHTS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 39,902 miles high for a 2024 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 KIA TELLURIDE listings at auction averaged 28,150 miles across 1654 sales, so at 39,902 miles this one sits 42% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 KIA TELLURIDE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
