Question 1

What do rear end 2021 KIA TELLURIDE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 171 recorded sales of the 2021 KIA TELLURIDE with rear end damage, the median was $7,400, from $4,650 to $11,100. That is 14% above the $6,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2021 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

1369 comparable 2021 KIA TELLURIDE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,500, spanning $4,000 to $10,200. At $3,100 this one went 52% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA TELLURIDE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 KIA TELLURIDE's pre-damage retail value at $17,866. It sold for $3,100 — 83% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this KIA TELLURIDE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WAYLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 KIA TELLURIDE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 152,049 miles high for a 2021 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 KIA TELLURIDE listings at auction averaged 79,836 miles across 1369 sales, so at 152,049 miles this one sits 90% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
