Question 1

What do hail 2021 KIA TELLURIDE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 51 recorded sales of the 2021 KIA TELLURIDE with hail damage, the median was $8,300, from $5,200 to $14,500. That is 26% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2021 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

1323 comparable 2021 KIA TELLURIDE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $4,025 to $10,200. At $6,500 this one went 2% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA TELLURIDE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 KIA TELLURIDE's pre-damage retail value at $19,524. It sold for $6,500 — 67% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 KIA TELLURIDE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 79,978 miles high for a 2021 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 KIA TELLURIDE listings at auction averaged 79,712 miles across 1323 sales, so at 79,978 miles this one sits 0% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 KIA TELLURIDE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
