Question 1

What do front end 2022 KIA TELLURIDE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 733 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA TELLURIDE with front end damage, the median was $6,963, from $4,150 to $11,000. That is 7% below the $7,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,400 a good price for this 2022 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

1564 comparable 2022 KIA TELLURIDE listings sold at auction for a median of $7,500, spanning $4,200 to $12,400. At $7,400 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This KIA TELLURIDE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA TELLURIDE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 KIA TELLURIDE's pre-damage retail value at $29,263. It sold for $7,400 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

How far is this KIA TELLURIDE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - SHREVEPORT. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 70,253 miles high for a 2022 KIA TELLURIDE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA TELLURIDE listings at auction averaged 63,246 miles across 1564 sales, so at 70,253 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
