Question 1

What do rear end 2022 KIA STINGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 40 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA STINGER with rear end damage, the median was $7,700, from $3,600 to $12,400. That is 11% above the $6,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $10,100 a good price for this 2022 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

369 comparable 2022 KIA STINGER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,950, spanning $3,900 to $12,700. At $10,100 this one went 45% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA STINGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 KIA STINGER's pre-damage retail value at $42,128. It sold for $10,100 — 76% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA STINGER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 58,087 miles high for a 2022 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA STINGER listings at auction averaged 56,738 miles across 369 sales, so at 58,087 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 KIA STINGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
