Question 1

What do right side 2021 KIA STINGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2021 KIA STINGER with right side damage, the median was $7,975, from $5,700 to $10,650. That is 35% above the $5,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,700 a good price for this 2021 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

154 comparable 2021 KIA STINGER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,900, spanning $3,550 to $10,200. At $8,700 this one went 47% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this KIA STINGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - NEW PHILADELPHIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 KIA STINGER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 102,397 miles high for a 2021 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 KIA STINGER listings at auction averaged 64,340 miles across 154 sales, so at 102,397 miles this one sits 59% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2021 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
