Question 1

What do front end 2021 KIA STINGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 64 recorded sales of the 2021 KIA STINGER with front end damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,250 to $9,400. That is 12% below the $5,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,200 a good price for this 2021 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

155 comparable 2021 KIA STINGER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,900, spanning $3,550 to $10,200. At $8,200 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This KIA STINGER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA STINGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 KIA STINGER's pre-damage retail value at $28,528. It sold for $8,200 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 KIA STINGER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 50,722 miles high for a 2021 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 KIA STINGER listings at auction averaged 64,753 miles across 155 sales, so at 50,722 miles this one sits 22% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
