Question 1

Was $3,300 a good price for this 2023 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

211 comparable 2023 KIA STINGER listings sold at auction for a median of $7,800, spanning $4,050 to $15,250. At $3,300 this one went 58% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA STINGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 KIA STINGER's pre-damage retail value at $29,725. It sold for $3,300 — 89% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA STINGER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This KIA STINGER has minor dent/scratches and missing/altered vin damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 47,608 miles high for a 2023 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA STINGER listings at auction averaged 40,261 miles across 211 sales, so at 47,608 miles this one sits 18% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this KIA STINGER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WOODHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
