Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2018 KIA STINGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA STINGER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,700, from $3,200 to $7,300. That is level with the $4,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,300 a good price for this 2018 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

492 comparable 2018 KIA STINGER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,700, spanning $3,150 to $7,500. At $7,300 this one went 55% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA STINGER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 KIA STINGER's pre-damage retail value at $27,424. It sold for $7,300 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 KIA STINGER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 143,566 miles high for a 2018 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA STINGER listings at auction averaged 88,547 miles across 492 sales, so at 143,566 miles this one sits 62% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This KIA STINGER has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
