Question 1

What do rear 2018 KIA STINGER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA STINGER with rear damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,150 to $6,775. That is 11% above the $4,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,650 a good price for this 2018 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

489 comparable 2018 KIA STINGER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,700, spanning $3,150 to $7,500. At $5,650 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 KIA STINGER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 KIA STINGER. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 100,050 miles high for a 2018 KIA STINGER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA STINGER listings at auction averaged 88,356 miles across 489 sales, so at 100,050 miles this one sits 13% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This KIA STINGER has rear and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
