Question 1

What do rear 2024 KIA SPORTAGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 177 recorded sales of the 2024 KIA SPORTAGE with rear damage, the median was $10,225, from $6,200 to $13,800. That is 13% above the $9,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,450 a good price for this 2024 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

2815 comparable 2024 KIA SPORTAGE listings sold at auction for a median of $9,050, spanning $5,000 to $13,400. At $13,450 this one went 49% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2024 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 17,397 miles high for a 2024 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 27,074 miles across 2815 sales, so at 17,397 miles this one sits 36% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2024 KIA SPORTAGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This KIA SPORTAGE has rear and right rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
