Question 1

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2022 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

1349 comparable 2022 KIA SPORTAGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,550, spanning $3,300 to $6,800. At $4,500 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this KIA SPORTAGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - BRIDGEPORT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 KIA SPORTAGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 33,845 miles high for a 2022 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 58,608 miles across 1349 sales, so at 33,845 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2022 KIA SPORTAGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
