Question 1

What do front end 2022 KIA SPORTAGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 554 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA SPORTAGE with front end damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,300 to $5,900. That is 8% below the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,700 a good price for this 2022 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

1321 comparable 2022 KIA SPORTAGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,350 to $6,800. At $4,700 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this KIA SPORTAGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WV - BUCKHANNON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 33,116 miles high for a 2022 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 58,407 miles across 1321 sales, so at 33,116 miles this one sits 43% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This KIA SPORTAGE has front end and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
