Question 1

What do rear end 2022 KIA SPORTAGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 102 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA SPORTAGE with rear end damage, the median was $4,650, from $3,400 to $6,400. That is 1% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This KIA SPORTAGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this KIA SPORTAGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in SC - GASTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 KIA SPORTAGE. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 94,808 miles high for a 2022 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 58,407 miles across 1321 sales, so at 94,808 miles this one sits 62% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN KNDPM3AC9N7997866?

Accepted Answer

KNDPM3AC9N7997866 identifies this specific 2022 KIA SPORTAGE in white with a 2.4l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
