Question 1

This KIA SPORTAGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

This KIA SPORTAGE has biohazard and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 161,554 miles high for a 2019 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 81,458 miles across 1059 sales, so at 161,554 miles this one sits 98% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2019 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN KNDPM3AC2K7544846?

Accepted Answer

KNDPM3AC2K7544846 identifies this specific 2019 KIA SPORTAGE in black with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, regular , 181hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2019 KIA SPORTAGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 KIA SPORTAGE was listed at IAAI as lot 46297507 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
