Question 1

What do hail 2017 KIA SPORTAGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2017 KIA SPORTAGE with hail damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,100 to $6,100. That is 8% above the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a sk-mechanical inspection required, not branded-saskatchewan mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a sk-mechanical inspection required, not branded-saskatchewan. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 KIA SPORTAGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 104,907 miles high for a 2017 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 98,040 miles across 1403 sales, so at 104,907 miles this one sits 7% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 KIA SPORTAGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 KIA SPORTAGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 KIA SPORTAGE was listed at IAAI as lot 30100573 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
