Question 1

What does a clear mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

How far is this KIA SPORTAGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - LINCOLN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 100,000 miles high for a 2016 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 92,655 miles across 72 sales, so at 100,000 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2016 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was THE CLUNKER JUNKER. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2016 KIA SPORTAGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 KIA SPORTAGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 KIA SPORTAGE was listed at IAAI as lot 45579894 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
