Question 1

What do all over 2023 KIA SPORTAGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 99 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA SPORTAGE with all over damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,275 to $8,800. That is 22% below the $7,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a non-repairable mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

How far is this KIA SPORTAGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MI - BYRON CENTER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 KIA SPORTAGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 65,217 miles high for a 2023 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 49,135 miles across 4657 sales, so at 65,217 miles this one sits 33% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2023 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
