Question 1

What does a ab-salvage-alberta mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a ab-salvage-alberta. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

Is 65,804 miles high for a 2018 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 93,445 miles across 1105 sales, so at 65,804 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Where was this KIA SPORTAGE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ROCKYVIEW. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 4

Did this 2018 KIA SPORTAGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 KIA SPORTAGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 KIA SPORTAGE was listed at IAAI as lot 12584549x and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN KNDPNCAC7J7376875?

Accepted Answer

KNDPNCAC7J7376875 identifies this specific 2018 KIA SPORTAGE in grey with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 181hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
