Question 1

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 KIA SPORTAGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This KIA SPORTAGE has front and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 189,958 miles high for a 2020 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 75,222 miles across 2592 sales, so at 189,958 miles this one sits 153% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this KIA SPORTAGE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - LAVAL. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN KNDPNCAC2L7820134?

Accepted Answer

KNDPNCAC2L7820134 identifies this specific 2020 KIA SPORTAGE in white with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 181hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
