Question 1

What do front end 2019 KIA SPORTAGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 386 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA SPORTAGE with front end damage, the median was $3,650, from $3,100 to $4,575. That is 4% below the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,750 a good price for this 2019 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

1059 comparable 2019 KIA SPORTAGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,050. At $4,750 this one went 25% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This KIA SPORTAGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a bill of sale mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 5

Is 73,257 miles high for a 2019 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 81,458 miles across 1059 sales, so at 73,257 miles this one sits 10% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA SPORTAGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
