Question 1

What do rear 2019 KIA SPORTAGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 36 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA SPORTAGE with rear damage, the median was $3,850, from $3,300 to $4,750. That is 1% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,875 a good price for this 2019 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

1078 comparable 2019 KIA SPORTAGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,050. At $3,875 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA SPORTAGE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this KIA SPORTAGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TN - NASHVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 79,578 miles high for a 2019 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA SPORTAGE listings at auction averaged 81,208 miles across 1078 sales, so at 79,578 miles this one sits 2% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2019 KIA SPORTAGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
