Question 1

What do front & rear 2025 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 29 recorded sales of the 2025 KIA SORENTO with front & rear damage, the median was $11,338, from $7,100 to $16,850. That is 15% below the $13,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $18,700 a good price for this 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1399 comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $13,300, spanning $7,100 to $18,800. At $18,700 this one went 41% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CHARLOTTE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 13,455 miles high for a 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 14,465 miles across 1399 sales, so at 13,455 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 KIA SORENTO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
