Question 1

What do rear 2022 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 78 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA SORENTO with rear damage, the median was $8,200, from $5,400 to $11,800. That is 5% above the $7,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This KIA SORENTO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - ELKTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 35,807 miles high for a 2022 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 61,396 miles across 1884 sales, so at 35,807 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2022 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5XYRKDLF6NG105984?

Accepted Answer

5XYRKDLF6NG105984 identifies this specific 2022 KIA SORENTO with a 2.5l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 281hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
