Question 1

What do front end 2026 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 99 recorded sales of the 2026 KIA SORENTO with front end damage, the median was $11,488, from $7,000 to $16,350. That is 8% below the $12,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,400 a good price for this 2026 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

218 comparable 2026 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $12,500, spanning $7,000 to $18,400. At $12,400 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SORENTO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2026 KIA SORENTO's pre-damage retail value at $39,478. It sold for $12,400 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 KIA SORENTO was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This KIA SORENTO has front end and top/roof damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 1,764 miles high for a 2026 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 5,102 miles across 218 sales, so at 1,764 miles this one sits 65% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
