Question 1

Was $15,900 a good price for this 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1397 comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $13,300, spanning $7,100 to $18,800. At $15,900 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This KIA SORENTO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SORENTO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2025 KIA SORENTO's pre-damage retail value at $50,576. It sold for $15,900 — 69% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This KIA SORENTO has vandalism and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 11,872 miles high for a 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 14,383 miles across 1397 sales, so at 11,872 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a clean title mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 KIA SORENTO was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
