Question 1

What do front end 2026 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 102 recorded sales of the 2026 KIA SORENTO with front end damage, the median was $11,400, from $7,100 to $16,100. That is 9% below the $12,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2026 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

223 comparable 2026 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $12,500, spanning $7,000 to $18,400. At $8,500 this one went 32% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SORENTO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2026 KIA SORENTO's pre-damage retail value at $34,502. It sold for $8,500 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 KIA SORENTO was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 11,128 miles high for a 2026 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 5,072 miles across 223 sales, so at 11,128 miles this one sits 119% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - DAVISON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
