Question 1

What do rear end 2025 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 130 recorded sales of the 2025 KIA SORENTO with rear end damage, the median was $15,050, from $10,300 to $20,600. That is 12% above the $13,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $15,700 a good price for this 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1349 comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $13,400, spanning $7,100 to $18,900. At $15,700 this one went 17% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SORENTO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2025 KIA SORENTO's pre-damage retail value at $34,005. It sold for $15,700 — 54% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AL - HUEYTOWN. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This KIA SORENTO has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 2,391 miles high for a 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 14,053 miles across 1349 sales, so at 2,391 miles this one sits 83% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
