Question 1

What do unknown 2023 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA SORENTO with unknown damage, the median was $6,850, from $4,950 to $12,775. That is 24% below the $9,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,775 a good price for this 2023 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1908 comparable 2023 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $9,000, spanning $5,000 to $14,200. At $6,775 this one went 25% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA SORENTO was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

Is 23,811 miles high for a 2023 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 42,889 miles across 1908 sales, so at 23,811 miles this one sits 44% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 KIA SORENTO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2023 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was GEICO. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
