Question 1

This KIA SORENTO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a ns-non-repairable-nova scotia mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 KIA SORENTO was sold on a ns-non-repairable-nova scotia. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

This KIA SORENTO has front and left front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Can I buy this 2018 KIA SORENTO from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 KIA SORENTO was listed at IAAI as lot 12709351 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5XYPGDA16JG379493?

Accepted Answer

5XYPGDA16JG379493 identifies this specific 2018 KIA SORENTO in black with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, regular , 240hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
