Question 1

What do front end 2022 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 959 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA SORENTO with front end damage, the median was $7,300, from $4,450 to $11,200. That is 6% below the $7,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This KIA SORENTO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA SORENTO was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 28,725 miles high for a 2022 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 61,760 miles across 1932 sales, so at 28,725 miles this one sits 53% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WY - CASPER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 900 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $575-$850, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5XYRGDLC8NG083601?

Accepted Answer

5XYRGDLC8NG083601 identifies this specific 2022 KIA SORENTO in black with a 2.5l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
