Question 1

What do front end 2022 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 936 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA SORENTO with front end damage, the median was $7,300, from $4,450 to $11,200. That is 6% below the $7,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,950 a good price for this 2022 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1878 comparable 2022 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $7,800, spanning $4,650 to $12,250. At $9,950 this one went 28% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA SORENTO was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 KIA SORENTO. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MS - GRENADA. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 54,308 miles high for a 2022 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 61,317 miles across 1878 sales, so at 54,308 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
