Question 1

What do side 2021 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 132 recorded sales of the 2021 KIA SORENTO with side damage, the median was $7,800, from $4,750 to $10,700. That is 11% above the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2021 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1529 comparable 2021 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $4,050 to $10,700. At $6,700 this one went 4% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NH - CANDIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 KIA SORENTO. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This KIA SORENTO has side and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 76,009 miles high for a 2021 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 77,065 miles across 1529 sales, so at 76,009 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
