Question 1

What does a mb-write off (hail)-manitoba mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 KIA SORENTO was sold on a mb-write off (hail)-manitoba. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

This KIA SORENTO has roof damage and hail damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 90,108 miles high for a 2020 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 82,361 miles across 1428 sales, so at 90,108 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this KIA SORENTO located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in MANITOBA - WINNIPEG. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2020 KIA SORENTO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with roof damage damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5XYPGDA31LG615133?

Accepted Answer

5XYPGDA31LG615133 identifies this specific 2020 KIA SORENTO in grey with a gas engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
