Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2019 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 102 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA SORENTO with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,200 to $6,100. That is 12% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2019 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1846 comparable 2019 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,400. At $4,500 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SORENTO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 KIA SORENTO's pre-damage retail value at $15,675. It sold for $4,500 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA SORENTO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA SORENTO was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 187,053 miles high for a 2019 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 91,555 miles across 1846 sales, so at 187,053 miles this one sits 104% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
