Question 1

This KIA SORENTO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a sk-mechanical & structural inspections required-saskatchewan mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA SORENTO was sold on a sk-mechanical & structural inspections required-saskatchewan. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA SORENTO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 83,877 miles high for a 2019 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 91,518 miles across 1856 sales, so at 83,877 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Accepted Answer

For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 KIA SORENTO was listed at IAAI as lot 30059955 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
