Question 1

What do rear end 2020 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 132 recorded sales of the 2020 KIA SORENTO with rear end damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,250 to $6,200. That is 2% above the $4,175 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,150 a good price for this 2020 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1416 comparable 2020 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $4,175, spanning $3,150 to $6,200. At $4,150 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SORENTO sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 KIA SORENTO's pre-damage retail value at $12,899. It sold for $4,150 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in GA - LOGANVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This KIA SORENTO has rear end and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 112,335 miles high for a 2020 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 82,309 miles across 1416 sales, so at 112,335 miles this one sits 36% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
