Question 1

What do side 2019 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 170 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA SORENTO with side damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,100 to $5,300. That is 3% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2019 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1820 comparable 2019 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,400. At $4,500 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA SORENTO was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA SORENTO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 157,121 miles high for a 2019 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 91,588 miles across 1820 sales, so at 157,121 miles this one sits 72% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Where was this KIA SORENTO located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in QC - MONTREAL-EST. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
