Question 1

Was $22,000 a good price for this 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

1349 comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $13,400, spanning $7,100 to $18,900. At $22,000 this one went 64% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 KIA SORENTO was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in IA - DES MOINES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,000 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $650-$950, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 19,938 miles high for a 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 14,053 miles across 1349 sales, so at 19,938 miles this one sits 42% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2025 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was CAPITAL ONE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2025 KIA SORENTO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
