Question 1

What does a clear mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA SORENTO was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NJ - AVENEL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 146,320 miles high for a 2017 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 103,877 miles across 926 sales, so at 146,320 miles this one sits 41% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2017 KIA SORENTO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with undercarriage damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5XYPKDA51HG304115?

Accepted Answer

5XYPKDA51HG304115 identifies this specific 2017 KIA SORENTO in black with a 3.3l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, 290hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 KIA SORENTO from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 KIA SORENTO was listed at IAAI as lot 43350275 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
