Question 1

What do mechanical 2016 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 42 recorded sales of the 2016 KIA SORENTO with mechanical damage, the median was $3,700, from $3,000 to $4,200. That is 7% above the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 KIA SORENTO was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

This KIA SORENTO has mechanical and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 121,845 miles high for a 2016 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 105,462 miles across 823 sales, so at 121,845 miles this one sits 16% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 KIA SORENTO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 KIA SORENTO from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 KIA SORENTO was listed at IAAI as lot 46245606 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
