Question 1

What do front end 2018 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 235 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA SORENTO with front end damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,050 to $4,700. That is 4% below the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - BALTIMORE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

This KIA SORENTO has front end and none damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 161,789 miles high for a 2018 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 96,385 miles across 731 sales, so at 161,789 miles this one sits 68% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2018 KIA SORENTO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5XYPGDA35JG402764?

Accepted Answer
