Question 1

What do left side 2018 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA SORENTO with left side damage, the median was $3,738, from $3,000 to $4,400. That is 2% above the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 KIA SORENTO was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 KIA SORENTO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 213,930 miles high for a 2018 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 96,295 miles across 756 sales, so at 213,930 miles this one sits 122% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2018 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 KIA SORENTO from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 KIA SORENTO was listed at IAAI as lot 46471984 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
