Question 1

What do front end 2017 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 321 recorded sales of the 2017 KIA SORENTO with front end damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,050 to $4,400. That is level with the $3,513 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,400 a good price for this 2017 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

959 comparable 2017 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,513, spanning $3,050 to $4,700. At $6,400 this one went 82% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA SORENTO was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

Is 45,197 miles high for a 2017 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 104,063 miles across 959 sales, so at 45,197 miles this one sits 57% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

This KIA SORENTO has front end and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
