Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 33 recorded sales of the 2017 KIA SORENTO with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $3,575, from $3,100 to $5,500. That is 1% above the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this KIA SORENTO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NV - MCCARRAN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 96,154 miles high for a 2017 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 103,869 miles across 938 sales, so at 96,154 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2017 KIA SORENTO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5XYPGDA34HG285043?

Accepted Answer

5XYPGDA34HG285043 identifies this specific 2017 KIA SORENTO in brown with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 185hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 KIA SORENTO from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 KIA SORENTO was listed at IAAI as lot 45118178 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
