Question 1

What do front & rear 2017 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2017 KIA SORENTO with front & rear damage, the median was $3,750, from $3,150 to $4,450. That is 6% above the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This KIA SORENTO has front & rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 175,944 miles high for a 2017 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 103,925 miles across 926 sales, so at 175,944 miles this one sits 69% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2017 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5XYPGDA31HG284075?

Accepted Answer

5XYPGDA31HG284075 identifies this specific 2017 KIA SORENTO in grey with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 185hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2017 KIA SORENTO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
