Question 1

What do left front 2016 KIA SORENTO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2016 KIA SORENTO with left front damage, the median was $3,325, from $3,000 to $4,350. That is 4% below the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,200 a good price for this 2016 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

827 comparable 2016 KIA SORENTO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,450, spanning $3,050 to $4,500. At $3,200 this one went 7% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 KIA SORENTO was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 KIA SORENTO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 68,447 miles high for a 2016 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 KIA SORENTO listings at auction averaged 105,564 miles across 827 sales, so at 68,447 miles this one sits 35% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 KIA SORENTO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
